Returns & Exchanges Policy

At Serendib Naturals, we take pride in the quality of our handcrafted goods and natural products. To ensure transparency and protect both our customers and our business, our return policy varies strictly by product category.

1. Non-Returnable Items (Final Sale) For strict health, safety, hygiene, and regulatory reasons, all products in the following categories are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded once dispatched:

  • Herbal Wellness (botanical infusions, teas)

  • Culinary Heritage (spices, dried goods, edibles)

  • Beauty & Personal Care (skincare, cosmetics)

We cannot accept returns on these items even if they remain unopened, as we cannot guarantee they have not been tampered with or exposed to improper storage conditions after leaving our facility.

2. Eligible Returns (Artisan & Craft Goods) Handcrafted items falling under our Artisan & Craft category may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of the delivery date, strictly subject to the following conditions:

  • The item must be unused, unwashed, and in the exact same condition that you received it.

  • The item must be in its original packaging with all tags, labels, and protective materials intact.

  • You must provide a valid receipt or proof of purchase.

  • Right of Refusal: Serendib Naturals reserves the sole right to inspect the returned item and refuse the return if it does not meet the above criteria.

3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items If you receive an item that is defective, damaged during transit, or incorrect, you must report it to us within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Please email info@serendibnaturals.com with your order number and clear photographic evidence of the damaged item and the shipping box.

  • Upon verification, we will arrange for a replacement or a refund at our discretion. Claims made after 48 hours will not be accepted.

4. Return Shipping Costs If a return is approved for an Artisan & Craft item, you are responsible for paying the shipping costs to return your item. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping (if arranged by us) will be deducted from your refund. We strongly advise using a trackable shipping service, as we do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item and are not liable for items lost in transit.
